Q: Please explain what is the difference in strength between your Olivus leaf extract (25% Oleuropein) and organic Olivus leaf powder. Would the strength between these two be the same if both were measured and taken at the same level teaspoon amount?
A: Olive leaf extract is formulated to maximize oleuropein and standardize it to contain 25% in every batch. This product (olive leaf powder) is not an extract of olive leaf. It is unprocessed olive leaf simply milled into a powder. Therefore the oleuropein content is the naturally occurring amount which typically measures from 1-6 %. Being unprocessed it contains all constituents found in olive leaf in their natural proportions. Many NPs feel this is the best approach for good general health.
