Receive the tea two days ago. I really like the taste. It goes well with a wedge of lemon. My wife loves the taste too and even without a sweetener which she always needs with tea. I will definitely reorder.

Q:
I bought and I love the loose leaf tea and was considering the extract vs the tea but wanted to know if there was a comparison of the benefits of the two. I am a very heathy 71 year old. Is there benefit to both or is the benefit from the tea enough that the extract also might be too much.

A:
There is no direct comparison mainly because tea is steeped for different lengths of time. Both are olive leaf and have the same compounds. In general, the effects are very similar.

A:
Oleuropein content varies due to the starting naturally occurring variations plus the steeping time and water temperature. It is not possible to determine. We only know there is some oleuropein along with many other compounds from the leaf.
